6 Months- Christmas Card pics!
6 Months- Santa Baby!Kayden has changed so much in just the last month...from starting to roll over to now being mobile. He rolls and scoots everywhere and is now on his hands and knees starting these last few days. Any day now he will be crawling! We can 't believe he is 7mths already! Where does time go?! His personality is just amazing- I don't think I've ever seen a baby so happy!
We went back to Michigan for Thanksgiving break and it was great to see that he didn't have "stranger anxiety" with anyone...not even Santa! During our visit we got him Christened, had our 1st Thanksgiving dinner with him and got 5th generation pictures with his Great Great Grandma who is 95 years old! He also brought back his 1st cold which developed into croup this last wkd- as scary as it was he has been handling it very well. Him and I are still both sick- so we are praying that we will be healthy for our drive back to MI this coming wkd. We are not looking forward to another long drive that's for sure...but he did great there and back. We wake up and drive all night or drive early evening until early morning and he does best since he can sleep for most of it.
K is about 20lbs now and us just solid! He will get more shots this week and then will be done for a while...or so they say! Just when you feel like they are never going to end!
He has been sleeping great all night ever since he has been able to roll over. He is so much more comfortable on his belly but we didnt want him sleeping on it until he could roll over- so he is happy now and letting us get more sleep. =) He has been teething it seems like forever now...but still no teeth- so now we just wait.
He has been doing great with his food. I'm still having fun making his baby food and he seems to like it all...except peas..we are working on that one! We have tried bananas about 3times now and he doesnt hate them- he's just not so sure about them. I was surprised....I thought he would love them! But we will keep trying along with the peas! He has tried carrots, avacodo, green bean, sweet potato, squash, peas, apples, and bananas. He's definitely a good eater!
We are excited for his 1st Christmas....even if he's most interested in the wrapping paper. But we are excited to share it with him as a family. Its amazing how much more fun things can be when a child is involved.
Happy Holidays to everyone!! Thanks for sharing this special year with us! We look forward to sharing 2009 with you as well!!
God Bless
